Sheriff Wants Anti-Nuclear Protestor Deported

Dumbarton Sheriff Court Today Sheriff Fitzsimons sentenced Trident Ploughshares activist Ulla Roder to 3 months in jail and recommended to the Home Office that she be deported at the end of it. Her sentence will take her to the end of the month and we need to act quickly to put pressure on the Secretary of State to refuse the deportation.

Ulla is a veteran campaigner against nuclear weapons, and was one of the Greenock Three acquitted by Sheriff Margaret Gimblett.
